In short
Heal by Heel is an informational site. It does not offer accounts, accept payments, or ask you to enter health information. The guided exercise runs in your browser, and your exercise activity is not submitted to Heal by Heel.
Information that may be processed
The hosting and security providers may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand basic site performance.
Privacy-friendly analytics
Heal by Heel uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic, such as which pages are visited, referral sources, approximate country, browser, operating system, and device type. Plausible does not use cookies, persistent identifiers, or cross-site tracking, and Heal by Heel does not use these analytics to identify individual visitors. Learn more in Plausible’s data policy.
If you email Jake, your message, email address, and anything you choose to include will be processed by the email providers involved and may be retained as needed to respond or keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Email is not a secure place to send sensitive medical information, and contacting Jake does not create a clinician-patient relationship.
Cookies and local features
Heal by Heel does not intentionally place advertising or analytics cookies or operate a cross-site tracking system. Plausible Analytics is configured without cookies. The hosting platform may use strictly necessary security or routing technology. Your browser may also store temporary information needed to play audio and operate the exercise interface.
Amazon affiliate links
Links to Amazon include the associate tag 717503406-20. When you follow a paid link, Amazon may process referral, device, cookie, account, and purchase information under Amazon’s own privacy notice. Heal by Heel does not receive your payment-card information or order details from Amazon.
Sharing and selling
Heal by Heel does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure, or deliver the site, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse.
External sites
Amazon, research publications, and other external links have their own terms and privacy practices. Heal by Heel does not control those sites.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Heal by Heel does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You may use browser privacy controls, block nonessential cookies, or avoid affiliate and external links. If applicable law gives you rights concerning information you have emailed directly to Jake, use the contact address below to make a request. Some technical records may be controlled by the hosting or email provider rather than Heal by Heel.
Security, retention, and changes
Reasonable measures are used to protect the site, but no internet service or email system is completely secure. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. This policy may change as the site changes; the updated date will identify the current version.
